Leominster, MA – Recently, the HealthAlliance Hospital Guild held their Annual Fall Social at the Il Camino Restaurant in Leominster, where three local students were awarded a HealthAlliance Hospital Guild Scholarship.
The HealthAlliance Hospital Guild Scholarship Fund was established to empower deserving students pursing the medical field and to assist in helping recipients achieve their academic goals as well as contribute to the continued excellence of health care in our community.
The scholarship recipients were Roxanne Erali, currently studying Nursing at Mount Wachusett Community College, Laura Zazulak, a current Nursing student at Fitchburg State University and Kyle Hofer, a Biology major at Fitchburg State University.
“The HealthAlliance Hospital Guild is thrilled to have re-activated our scholarship program, after a 26 year hiatus! Though our monetary contributions are modest, we hope that they have an impact in subsidizing the students’ costs for their education. Our three recipients are all focusing their studies in a medical field and we are very happy to support them! The schools were instrumental in making sure we found worthy candidates for these scholarships, for which we are very thankful,” stated HealthAlliance Hospital Guild President, Leslie Storrs.
