UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital is a great place for you to have a baby. The maternity service features personalized care to enhance your birth experience, including breastfeeding support, classes and many comfortable, private rooms. Expert physicians, anesthesiologists, nurses and support staff provide high-quality, family-centered care for you and your family.
As a family-focused Birthing Center, we encourage family and friends who support the labor process to attend labor. Our seven labor/delivery/recovery beds allow patients to stay in one location for labor and delivery.
HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital offers various methods of pain control, including supporting non-medicated birth, narcotic pain control, epidurals and intrathecal anesthesia, all which are available 24 hours a day.
If required, a surgical birth occurs in our surgical suite on the Birthing Center unit, supported by our Birthing Center staff. Recovery from birth is also provided in the Birthing Center to decrease mother/baby separation.
We have 19 postpartum rooms. We try our best to make sure you have your own private room. Family and friends can visit during visiting hours.
