UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital provides comprehensive services if you have a high-risk pregnancy. You may be at increased risk for complications during pregnancy because of one of the following conditions:

  • Age over 35 years
  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • History of genetic concerns
  • History of pregnancy-related complications
  • Multiple gestation
  • Previous preterm labor

If you require specialized care, you will be referred by your obstetrician or family medicine provider to a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at HealthAlliance Hospital for medical, obstetrical or ultrasound consultation. Our specialists work closely with you to develop a plan of care tailored to your personal needs and medical history.
