Lynda Young, MD

Chair, UMass Memorial Medical Group Board

Lynda Young, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician, previously with Chandler Pediatrics in Worcester and Chief of the Division of Community Pediatrics at UMass Memorial Medical Center's Children's Medical Center. She has served as President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a past president of the Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS). Dr. Young currently serves on the MMS committees of Strategic Planning, Administration and Management, and chairs the Committee on Publications.

On the national level, Dr. Young is a Delegate to the American Medical Association and is the Chair of its Council on Medical Service. She is a Trustee for UMass Memorial Health and chairs the UMass Memorial Medical Group Board. Dr. Young is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
