Complex Spine Program

If spinal issues and back pain are compromising your quality of life, it’s reassuring to know that the UMass Memorial Neurosurgery Complex Spine Program provides comprehensive, high-quality care for patients with spine disorders.

While many back issues can be resolved through conservative (non-surgical) treatments, when surgery is indicated, you can rely on our team of experienced neurosurgeons for expert treatment of the full range of spine disorders.

Notably, our program in minimally invasive spine surgery is one of the top programs of its kind in New England. Our surgeons use the most advanced techniques, including smaller incisions that result in less pain and a faster recovery—getting you back to your regular activities sooner.
