Pancreatic Cancer

Getting Diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer
Receiving a pancreatic cancer diagnosis may cause you worry and anxiety. You can be confident in the Pancreatic Cancer Program at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, since treatment centers that care for a large number of patients with pancreatic cancer have been proven to have better patient outcomes. In fact, our program is one of four designated National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) Pancreatic Cancer Centers in Massachusetts and the only designated program in the region.

Our pancreas cancer program aims to improve treatment options in the Northeast by combining advanced therapies with research and clinical trials, resulting in quality care and successful results.

High-Risk Pancreas Clinic
Our High-Risk Pancreas Clinic offers risk assessment, screening, genetic testing and counseling and monitoring for people at moderate or high risk for pancreatic cancer. If you have a personal or family history of pancreatic cancer or one of the genetic syndromes known to be associated with the disease, you may benefit from getting screened.
