Connected Health Research
As research pioneers in the connected health movement, we are working with federal and industry partners to harness the power of mobile and smart devices to enhance communication, outcomes and reduce costs. Some examples of our ongoing or recently completed projects include:
- A smartwatch-enabled cardiac rehabilitation pilot project for patients who suffer a heart attack

- Same-day cardiac device surgeries empowered by remote follow-up using telemonitoring
