Psychiatry Training and Education at UMass Memorial Medical Center

As an academic medical center, UMass Memorial partners with UMass Chan Medical School and provides teaching and clinical rotations for medical students, psychiatry residents, fellows, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and others.   Trainees participate in clinical cases and work closely with faculty to develop skills in clinical care, teaching, administration and patient advocacy.

We offer post doctoral fellowships in addiction psychiatry, adult neurodevelopmental disabilities, child and adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, forensic psychology, neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology and mood disorders research.
