For many patients, that level of care is available right here in Central Massachusetts. UMass Memorial Health Cancer Center provides coordinated access to medical, surgical, and radiation oncology, along with specialized programs for complex diagnoses and advanced treatment needs.

Specialized Programs and Treatments

CAR T-cell therapy and bispecific antibody therapy are available for certain relapsed or refractory cancers, particularly blood cancers.

Our accredited program includes screening, risk assessment, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship program, genetic counseling and multidisciplinary planning.

We’ll help identify hereditary cancer risk and guide screening, prevention and treatment decisions.

UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester is home to the region’s only stem cell transplant program, supporting patients with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders.

Advanced imaging is combined with targeted therapies for prostate, thyroid, liver and select other cancers.

Children and young adults have access to the region’s only comprehensive pediatric hematology oncology program, including national treatment protocols and trials through Children’s Oncology Group membership.
