Mohs micrographic surgery is a specialized procedure offered at UMass Memorial Health to remove skin cancers. This treatment differs from other approaches because we can track and remove all of the cancerous tissue. The Mohs procedure has a very high cure rate of up to 96% to 99%, even when other treatments have failed.
