Many of our providers are pediatricians — medical doctors who completed medical school and a three-year residency in pediatrics. What Is Internal Medicine?

Internal medicine providers (internists) provide comprehensive nonsurgical care to adults 18 and older. After medical school, physicians complete at least three years of training, enabling them to deal with a wide range of routine and complex health issues. The team also includes highly skilled nurse practitioners and physician assistants specializing in internal medicine.

What Is Family Medicine?

This primary care specialty serves patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults. Family medicine doctors (sometimes called family practice doctors) complete four years of medical school and a three-year residency.
