The UMass Memorial Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship in Critical Care is a 12-month program focused on preparing Physician Assistants (PAs) and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNPs) for a successful career in critical care medicine. The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at the UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center is conducting a research study to determine whether infants with Down syndrome need to be screened at more frequent intervals during the first year of life for thyroid disorders.
