UMass Memorial Medical Center – Marlborough Campus Water/Boiler Issue (Code Black) Updates
The UMass Memorial Medical Center – Marlborough Campus remains on Code Black due to ongoing heating challenges. Ambulance arrivals to the Emergency Department (ED) are temporarily suspended.
Below is the current status of services for Tuesday, February 10.
Services CLOSED at the Marlborough Campus
Inpatient Services
All inpatient care services remain closed until further notice.
Outpatient Services
The following outpatient services are closed:
UMass Memorial Cancer Center – Marlborough (Marlborough location only)
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Partial Hospitalization Program
Outpatient radiology and laboratory services
Exception: Phlebotomy services remain open (see below)
Services OPEN at the Marlborough Campus
Emergency Care
The Emergency Department is open to walk-in patients only (ambulances are temporarily diverted).
Patients admitted through the Marlborough ED will be transferred to another facility for inpatient care.
Patients may also seek care at other nearby emergency departments.
Diagnostic and Clinical Support (ED Support Only)
The following services are open only to support Emergency Department patients and are not available for outpatient appointments:
