Video Visit Quick Start Guide

Pre-Check In in MyChart

If you have already set up your MyChart account, then when it is getting closer to your telehealth appointment with your provider, you will receive reminders via email or text message to complete your pre-check in.

You can complete your pre-check in on your mobile phone or computer.

Test Your Equipment

Use the Test hardware button during your PreCheck-In, to make sure your camera, microphone and speaker are all working. This will save you from any possible delays during your telehealth visit.

Join Your Telehealth Visit

Once you have completed your pre-check in, you will be able to join your telehealth visit up to 30 minutes before your appointment. Please try to join 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

• If you have a pop-up blocker on your device’s web browser, you will get a pop-up box, from which you will click Launch to join the video visit.
• Your video visit with Epic will launch your device’s web browser. It will ask you permission to use your device’s microphone and camera.
• After you have allowed permissions we recommend that you test the microphone, camera and speakers again before joining the call.
• You will then be placed in a waiting room until the provider joins the call for your telehealth appointment.
