8-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Experience the original 8-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program developed at the Stress Reduction Clinic at UMass Medical Center by Jon Kabat-Zinn.  Since 1979 more than 25,000 people have completed this evidence-based training.

8-Week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

MBCT combines the practice and clinical application of mindfulness meditation with the tools of cognitive therapy to break the cycle of recurrent depression. 

4-Week Program, Mindfulness for Managing Pain: An Introduction

Physical pain is not only felt in the body; our thoughts, feelings, and emotional reactions influence our experience of chronic pain.  These normal stress-pain reactions can contribute to making the pain worse.  Mindfulness practices can bring awareness to these automatic reactions and empower us to skillfully choose how we respond.

This 4-week live online course introduces you to the how’s and why’s of mindfulness and the potential benefits you may experience from a personal practice. Helping you to quickly integrate practical skills into your daily life, this program is a great resource for those who are new to mindfulness practices and for those seeking to strengthen their practice.  The weekly classes are experiential and include mindfulness meditation, the science behind mindfulness, its effects on physical and mental health, and dialogue and discussion in both large and small groups.

The All-Day session for the Winter 8-Week courses is Saturday, March 4.
