Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation To Host Golf Classic Fundraiser on August 17

FRANKLIN, Mass. — Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation, the philanthropic partner of UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional Medical Center, will host its 37th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, August 17, at Franklin Country Club.
Proceeds from the event support Milford Regional's Annual Fund, providing unrestricted funding that enables Milford Regional to respond to its local community’s highest priority patient care needs. Sponsorship opportunities remain available.
“The Golf Classic has been a longstanding tradition that reflects the extraordinary generosity of our community and the shared commitment to ensuring exceptional care remains close to home,” said Edward J. Kelly, President and CEO of Milford Regional Medical Center. “The support of our sponsors and participants helps strengthen Milford Regional's ability to meet the evolving needs of our patients and invest in the programs, services, and technology that support high-quality care for the communities we serve.”
The tournament begins with a 9 am shotgun start and concludes with a reception, during which raffle prizes and awards will be presented.
“Despite my involvement with the Golf Classic for more than 30 years, I am still amazed and appreciative of the enduring generosity of our sponsors, players and volunteers each year,” said Golf Committee Chair Joyce Gilmore. “The event represents an enjoyable day on the golf course, but more importantly, a meaningful opportunity to give back to Milford Regional, a cornerstone of our Milford-area community.”
