Virtual Breastfeeding Class - Milford Regional

Breastfeeding doesn’t always come easy to new mothers who are learning how to feed their newborns. UMass Memorial Health - Milford Regional’s virtual prenatal breastfeeding class will cover how the body produces breastmilk, how to establish and maintain one’s milk supply, how to sustain a comfortable latch and what to expect the first few days of breastfeeding.

The class will also review the many breastfeeding positions, infant feeding patterns, pumping, when to give a bottle and how to store breast milk. Expectant moms will learn all about breastfeeding and how to set up a solid foundation for a successful feeding journey. This class will be led by lactation consultant Danielle Donovan, RN, BSN, IBCLC.

Registration is required and the class costs $60. Registrants will be sent a virtual link.
