Hahnemann Campus Construction and Traffic Updates

Road work on Rockport Road, between Duxbury Street and Brittan Lane, is expected to impact UMass Memorial Medical Center – Hahnemann Campus and the adjacent open-air parking lot in the coming months.

Phase 3: Beginning Tuesday, September 29 (Weather Permitting)

Contractors are scheduled to pour sidewalks on Tuesday, September 29 starting at 7 am. Concrete trucks will be entering and exiting the area starting around 9 am. While normal parking lot operations are expected to continue, caregivers, patients and visitors should anticipate increased construction activity and traffic throughout the day. Worcester Police Department details will be onsite to assist with traffic flow and pedestrian safety.

Caregivers, patients and visitors who travel through the area should allow extra time and use caution when entering or exiting the Hahnemann Campus parking areas.

This construction is expected to last through November. We will give as much notice as possible before each road closure date when the city makes the information available.
