Notice of Intent - January 18, 2024

UMass Memorial Health Care, Inc. (“Applicant”), located at One Biotech Park, 365 Plantation Street, Worcester, Massachusetts, 01605, intends to file a Notice of Determination of Need Application with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health with respect to a Proposed Project involving a Transfer of Ownership of Milford Regional Medical Center, Inc. (“Hospital”), and its affiliated physician organization and foundation, located at 14 Prospect Street, Milford, MA 01757. The Total Value of this Proposed Project is $368,744,992. The Applicant does not anticipate that the Proposed Project will have a material price or service impact on the Hospital’s existing patient panel.

Any ten Taxpayers of Massachusetts may register in connection with the intended Application by no later than March 7, 2024 or 30 days from the Filing Date, whichever is later, by contacting the Department of Public Health Determination of Need Program at DPH.DON@mass.gov or 67 Forest St, Marlborough, Massachusetts 01752.
