EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

You are here

Emergency Department

Our commitment to care is our top priority, and we strive to provide you with the highest level of medical attention and support during your time here. We understand that arriving at the emergency department can be a stressful and challenging experience, and we aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible while addressing your medical needs.

Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and support staff, are trained to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies. We have the necessary expertise, resources, and equipment to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening situations.

When you arrive at the Emergency Department, you will move through a six-step process, based on your condition, its severity and the severity of other patients' conditions as everyone waits to be seen.  Learn about the process and what to expect once you arrive.

Throughout your stay, we will keep you informed about your condition and the steps we are taking to address it. We encourage you to ask questions and share any concerns you may have, as we believe in open communication and active involvement in your healthcare journey.

Please be aware that while we strive to provide prompt care to all patients, there may be occasions when critical cases require immediate attention, resulting in potential delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience during such times.

Confidentiality and privacy are fundamental principles in our commitment to care. We adhere to strict guidelines and regulations to protect your personal information. Your medical records will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, and access will be granted only to authorized healthcare professionals involved in your treatment.

If necessary, we may need to involve additional specialists or transfer you to another healthcare facility for specialized care. Rest assured, we will coordinate all necessary arrangements and ensure a seamless transition to provide you with the best possible care.

As part of our commitment to your well-being, we encourage you to provide us with accurate and detailed information about your medical history, medications, allergies, and any other relevant factors that may help us in delivering appropriate care.

Once your condition has been stabilized or treated, we will provide you with comprehensive instructions regarding any necessary follow-up care, medications, or lifestyle modifications. Our goal is to support your recovery and help you maintain your health beyond your time in the emergency department.

If your condition is life-threatening, call 911 or go to the emergency department immediately.
