Physicians: If you have patients you would like to be tested for COVID-19, below are the resources we provide.

Each patient must have a physician order before presenting for COVID test collection and should wait two hours after calling their doctor before leaving home to ensure the order has been placed into EPIC. We cannot collect samples from patients who do not have an order.  Please note that patients arriving at the lot after our closing time will not be granted access to the lot even if we are still processing the remaining cars already in the lot.  The COVID-19 Collection Site may experience times during our normal hours of operation when we must close the entrance into our lot based on the volume of cars due to space and safety reasons.

 

Hours of Operation:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday:  8:15 am to 3:45 pm

Tuesday Saturday before
Wednesday Monday before
Thursday Monday or Tuesday before
Friday Tuesday or Wednesday before

To accommodate the required COVID-19 testing prior to a procedure that will take place immediately after the holiday, we are offering a home collection process for patients with procedures on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 or Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

It’s very important that every patient have an order for testing prior to arriving at the testing tent, as following up on missing orders creates delays for our patients. At this time we are only able to accept orders from UMass Memorial Health Care providers and those in our managed care network. All other patients including those seeking testing for out-of-state travel or return to work can obtain testing through other testing sites, such as CareWell or CVS.  See attached list of additional alternate test sites.
