Worcester, MA -- UMass Memorial Medical Center, the flagship academic medical center of UMass Memorial Health, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announced today that it has expanded access to COVID-19 monoclonal antibody (mAb) treatments and will begin administering the therapies at its Hahnemann campus in Worcester.

Leominster, Mass – UMass Memorial Health- HealthAlliance Clinton Hospital recently invested $717,000 to fund community-based initiatives aimed at tackling the urgent health challenges of food insecurity, substance abuse, and workforce development. To date, the hospital has committed more than $820,000 in resources, including emergency COVID response funding.

UMass Memorial Health – Marlborough Hospital has been named a Ten Year Grant Recipient
Marlborough, MA—Marlborough Hospital is one of 140 local nonprofits to receive grants of $100,000 to $500,000 each through Cummings Foundation’s $25 Million Grant Program. The community hospital was chosen from a total of 590 applicants during a competitive review process. The hospital will receive $300,000 over ten years.

BOSTON — The Baker-Polito Administration today announced that the first field hospital will be stood up at the DCU Center in Worcester as the Commonwealth prepares additional capacity for COVID-19 patients. This site will be built by the National Guard and is the first field hospital to re-open in the state since June.
