UMass Memorial Health – Marlborough Hospital has been named a Ten Year Grant Recipient

Marlborough, MA—Marlborough Hospital is one of 140 local nonprofits to receive grants of $100,000 to $500,000 each through Cummings Foundation’s $25 Million Grant Program. The community hospital was chosen from a total of 590 applicants during a competitive review process. The hospital will receive $300,000 over ten years.

Marlborough, MA – UMass Memorial - Marlborough Hospital is pleased to announce a new prostate cancer detection technology is now available at the hospital.  Targeted magnetic resonance (MRI)/ultrasound fusion prostate biopsies have been recently performed by Bhalchandra Parulkar, MD, a urologist who is an member of the hospital’s active medical staff.  
 

Marlborough, MA—On September 25, 2015, UMass Memorial-Marlborough Hospital announced that the hospital and employees who are members of the Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA) agreed to a new three year contract.  The contract was brought before members of the union on September 21, 2015 and was ratified.

MARLBOROUGH, MAOn Thursday, December 11, Marlborough Hospital will celebrate the 14th Annual Tree of Light ceremony. The festivities will take place in the Leahy Conference Room at the hospital at 157 Union Street beginning at 5pm.

And coming later this fall, patients receiving treatment at the new Cancer Center at Marlborough Hospital will have the added comfort of hand-made blankets courtesy of the Courtyard by Marriott of Marlborough. In fact, as part of their recent lobby renovation celebration, the Courtyard by Marriott spearheaded a special build-a-blanket project.
