Additional Information to Help Keep You Safe
It's common to feel overwhelmed in the hospital. There are new surroundings, an unfamiliar bed, medications, and surgery or treatments. You might feel confused when talking or have trouble recognizing family and visitors. If this happens, your family or friends can help support you.
We work with your loved ones to develop a plan that decreases your anxiety, including:
Calm and reassuring interactions with your loved ones
Clear, straightforward directions from our staff
Inviting family or loved ones to stay with you or be present during crucial conversations
Our goal is for your hospital stay to be as comfortable and smooth as possible. Talk to your nurse to discuss how we can make your stay more comfortable.
