Hepatitis Panel

This test finds out whether you have a hepatitis infection. It looks for infection by 1 of several hepatitis viruses.

Hepatitis B Surface Antigen

This blood test looks for hepatitis B surface antigens. It is used to find out whether you have a recent or long-standing infection from the hepatitis B virus.

Hepatitis B Core Antibody

This test looks for antibodies called IgM in your blood. The test is used to find out whether you are actively infected with the hepatitis B virus.

HDL Cholesterol

This test measures the amount of HDL ("good") cholesterol in your blood. It's one of several tests that can determine your risk for heart disease.

HCG (Urine)

This test measures the amount of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in your urine. It can tell whether you are pregnant within days of a missed period.

Free Androgen Index

This test is used to find out if your levels of the hormone androgen are normal. The levels are different for men and women.

Fragile X Syndrome (Amniotic Fluid)

This test checks a sample of your amniotic fluid during pregnancy to find out if your baby may have fragile X syndrome, a rare genetic disorder.

Follicle-Stimulating Hormone

This test measures the level of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), an important hormone made in your pituitary gland.
