MARLBOROUGH, MA – UMass Memorial-Marlborough Hospital will be presenting three educational lectures during the month of October. All programs are free and open to the public to help educate our local community about cancer recovery and behavioral health issues. The programs include:

UMass Memorial – HealthAlliance Hospital Opens Newly Renovated Fourth Floor

Leominster, MA – Recently, UMass Memorial – HealthAlliance Hospital unveiled the renovated fourth floor to be utilized for cardiac and telemetry patients who require advanced monitoring.  By listening to the needs of patients and caregivers, the new unit is comprised of state-of-the-art equipment and private rooms helping to expand our patient experience and provide enhanced quality outcomes.

  UMass Memorial –HealthAlliance Hospital Installs Emergency Calls Boxes

Leominster, MA – Recently, two Emergency Call Boxes were installed on the UMass Memorial – HealthAlliance Hospital Leominster Campus as part of the Federal Emergency Management Grant and a partnership with Leominster Police Chief Robert Healey and the Leominster Police Department.

QUINCY, Mass.–Two UMass Memorial-affiliated CareWell Urgent Care centers, located at 500 Lincoln Street and 348 Greenwood Street in Worcester, will open on July 15. This affiliation is unique to the Worcester area and will provide residents an integrated healthcare solution with both organizations serving patients based on their individual needs.

Patients at the Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center to Benefit from $32,000 Grant

Leominster, MA – For the fourth year in a row, cancer patients at the Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center of UMass Memorial - HealthAlliance Hospital in Fitchburg will receive free therapeutic services thanks to a grant from Angie’s Spa, a charitable, all-volunteer organization.  Since 2012, the funding has enabled the hospital’s Simonds-Hurd Complementary Care Center to provide free therapeutic yoga, hand, foot and chair massage and acupuncture services to patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
