Children with feeding disorders often have physical, behavioral or developmental challenges that make it difficult to consume enough food.

Our team includes occupational and speech therapists, registered dietitians, psychologists and nurse practitioners. We work together to address all your child’s needs so they can develop healthy eating habits. 

Conditions We Treat

We care for children who have difficulty feeding because of:

• Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Brain injury
• Breathing problems, such as asthma or cystic fibrosis
• Cerebral palsy (CP)
• Congenital (present at birth) conditions, such as cleft palate or other orofacial differences
• Epilepsy and seizure disorders
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Oral motor issues, such as swallowing disorders
• Premature birth

• Talk with you about your child’s feeding challenges
• Evaluate your child’s oral motor and feeding abilities
• Assess your child’s growth and nutrition
• Develop a customized treatment plan to improve your child’s feeding skills
• Coordinate follow-up care if needed
