Pediatric Lung Disorders

Pediatric lung disorder specialists (pulmonologists) deliver services that help your child breathe easier.

Why Choose Us for Childhood Lung Disease Care?

Team Approach

In addition to pediatric pulmonologists, our team includes nurse practitioners, social workers, respiratory therapists, community health workers and researchers. Our collective knowledge and vast experience mean exceptional care for ongoing disorders. We also provide family-focused education and support that makes life easier for you and your loved ones.

Research and Leadership

We are advancing childhood lung disease care and outcomes through research and clinical trials. Our focus areas include cystic fibrosis and childhood asthma. This gives your child access to new care methods before they are widely available. We are also training the next generation of pediatric pulmonologists through medical school classes and residencies.

Collaborative Care

Pediatric pulmonologists are available to any Children’s Medical Center or community provider needing expertise in treating complex conditions. We take part in multidisciplinary teams, such as our Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Program. These efforts also include participation in our Aerodigestive Program, which treats conditions affecting the airway, lungs, digestive tract or feeding.
