Asthma Care

We provide comprehensive asthma evaluation and management. Offerings include advanced diagnostic testing, personalized treatment plans and family education.

The Children’s Medical Center also leads the Asthma Link Program. This school-supervised asthma therapy initiative links pediatric providers, schools and families to reduce the incidence of severe asthma flare-ups. Efforts ensure children consistently receive asthma medications on school days. There may also be home visits from community health workers. 

BPD Child Health Infant Lung (CHILD) Program

This program provides specialized care to newborns requiring ventilation at birth and showing signs of long-term breathing issues. Pediatric pulmonologists provide inpatient services during your child’s neonatal intensive care (NICU) stay. After discharge, we also ensure a smooth transition home with follow-up care and home monitoring of oxygen levels. 

Inpatient Pulmonology Consultation Service

Pediatric pulmonologists provide inpatient evaluations, treatment and monitoring at the Children’s Medical Center. This service is for children with severe lung or breathing concerns, including asthma flare-ups, respiratory infections, and cystic fibrosis complications. Our experts collaborate with other providers involved in your child’s treatment to deliver seamless care.

Nationally Recognized Cystic Fibrosis Care

A highly experienced team offers advanced testing, treatment and support to help more children with CF thrive. We are also advancing the field through clinical trials exploring innovative new therapies. Pediatric Sleep Medicine

Conditions such as snoring, restless legs, sleep apnea and nightmares don’t have to get in the way of a good night’s sleep. The Children’s Medical Center offers pediatric sleep medicine expertise that’s uncommon in our community. We get to the source of the issue and deliver child-focused treatments that put a good night’s rest within reach.
