Ranked 24th in the nation’s top hospitals by the Lown Institute. The Lown Institute has a different methodology that looks at metrics such as civic leadership, which includes pay equity, community benefits and inclusivity; value, which includes avoidance of procedures with limited clinical utility; and the metrics we usually see in rankings, such as mortality, readmission and patient safety metrics.

Ranked 6th in Massachusetts by US News and World Report as Best Regional Hospital and High Performing in colon cancer surgery, aortic valve surgery, heart bypass surgery and heart failure.
