UMass Memorial Medical Center is the clinical partner of UMass Medical School, a major research center providing access to groundbreaking scientific research in movement disorders.

As a patient, you may be eligible to participate in clinical trials to test new interventions and treatments, observational studies to increase knowledge about movement disorders, and collaborative studies with other institutions.

In addition, our Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Clinic partners with the UMass Medical School Conquering Diseases Biorepository to gather blood samples of Parkinson’s disease patients for research purposes.
